TRAINER

    Name: Gray Perigrau
    Gender: Male
    Age: 20
    Height: 5'9"

    Personality:
    Upright and noble at first glance, Gray tends to be a tad
    snippy, easily jostled, blunt in speech, and has his bouts
    of selfishness. He's prone to moping and resignation if things
    don't go his way and doesn't take pride in many things.
    Ironically, he is still rather haughty if just because of his
    status as an aristocrat.

    With a slightly self-centered and jaded outlook on life, he
    feigns the confidence and mannerisms of a noble to keep
    up appearances of the esteemed Perigrau family, but more
    times than not comes off as rather snooty. It doesn't help
    much that his words are critical and often times belittling.

    Despite this, his noble upbringing forces his morality compass
    to spin in a generally law abiding citizen direction.


    Brief History:
    Gray hails from nobility in the province of Ladon.
    His family's success is largely due to his grandfather's bold
    monetary ventures, thus Gray never had to try too hard to get
    what he wanted.

    At the same time however, Gray would always seem to come
    up short in anything he tried; whether it's leading unsuccessful
    business ventures with his father, losing games with servants,
    blundered cooking, social gatherings gone awry, or even botching
    up simple errands.

    Perplexed with his many shortcomings, Gray opts to stay hidden
    away in his manor disregarding events and people around him.
    The one thing he takes some joy, comfort, and pride in are his
    loyal, self-raised pokemon.

    Hoping to better his son, Gray's father sent him out on
    his family's honor to join the SixFold League Tournament.

    Gray reluctantly obliged.

    Species: Feraligatr
    Gender: Male
    Nature: Brave
    Characteristic: Stoic, stern, fair and proud. Also a great team player and leader.
    Ability: Torrent
    Moveset:

      -Ice Beam
      -Brick Break
      -Crunch
      -Hydro Pump

    Misc:
    Originally Gray's father's pokemon, Captain doesn't always agree with Gray.
    He isn't too thrilled with partnering with Gray, but feels obligated to keep
    tabs on him and the team.
    Captain always does his best to look out for the team's well being.
    He also seemingly has infinite patience.

    Name: Boonie
    Species: Dragonite
    Gender: Male
    Nature: Docile
    Characteristic: Quite friendly, rather bashful, a cuddlebug, easily amused.
    Ability: Inner Focus
    Moveset:

      -Outrage
      -Thunder Wave
      -Thunderbolt
      -Earthquake

    Misc:
    Gray's first pokemon. Boonie is an overtly friendly airhead and has
    a tendency to nuzzle up to Gray, Captain, Richter, and any other
    person or pokemon he finds approachable, much to his team members'
    embarrassment.
    He will always go along with Gray's decisions, both the good and the bad.


    Gray first caught Boonie as a little Dratini.
    They first met in the city of Volsav. Boonie, a stray Dratini, playfully bumped
    (rather forcefully) into Gray sending him flying through a merchant's stand and
    into a court's water fountain. Humiliated, Gray chased him down for 3 hours
    straight expecting some form of apology only to be greeted with Boonie's
    persistent shows of affection.
    Deeming him hopeless on his own, Gray took him in.

    Name: Richter
    Species: Archeops
    Gender: Male
    Nature: Adamant
    Characteristic: Finicky and a bit of a worrywart.
    Ability: Defeatist
    Moveset:

      -Rock Slide
      -Stealth Rock
      -U-Turn
      -Acrobatics

    Misc:
    A nervous wreck. Richter doesn't take well to conflict and loses feathers
    to these stressors. He often clings to Gray looking for constant guidance
    and assurance and has berserker-like tendencies if left long enough
    in a state of anxiety. At the very least, his trust in Gray is unshakable.


    Richter's fossil was acquired during a transaction and revitalized.
    Both Gray's father and the revitalization specialist advised Gray
    to release Richter or put him up for adoption since his abnormally
    high reactivity to stressors would prove too difficult for Gray to
    manage. In an act of defiance, Gray kept Richter.

    Name: Faust
    Species: Frillish
    Gender: Male
    Nature: Quiet
    Characteristic: Detached, difficult to read, always listening.
    Ability: Cursed Body
    Moveset:

      -Curse
      -Ice Beam
      -Shadow Ball
      -Surf

    Misc:
    Quiet by nature, Faust mostly keeps to himself and rarely speaks even
    when spoken to (much to Richter's distress). He prefers to remain invisible
    whilst riding along on Gray's back, head, by the side, anywhere but his
    pokeball. This usually causes Gray discomfort.
    Faust is critically analytical of people, pokemon, and his immediate
    surroundings.


    Faust used to haunt around the Perigrau Manor for several years
    never really making its presence known except for in dreams.
    It would often attach itself and feed off of Gray and his negative
    vibes, but only because it felt the same way he used to: lonely
    and disdainful.
    Faust slowly got to know Gray through observation, but has only
    recently appeared before him. Why? Even Gray doesn't know.

    Name: Gretchen
    Species: Purugly
    Gender: Female
    Nature: Sassy
    Characteristic: Fussy, unruly, and whimsical.
    Ability: Thick Fat
    Moveset:

      -U-Turn
      -Frustration
      -Shadow Claw
      -Fake-Out

    Misc:
    Gretchen has a very self entitled royalty
    complex and acts as such, doing whatever she
    pleases with whomever she pleases.

    Captured during Round 3 in an attempt to offset
    bad publicity, Gretchen looks down on her new trainer
    in contempt. She seemingly enjoys being in Gray's
    company, if just to illicit his frustrated reactions.

None of my girls are from Ladon, but one is stuck there to live in her boyfriend's place until she can get a new apartment back in Cita, and the other two have jobs that requires them to travel.

Actually, on that account, my SXL ask blog /is/ my main.

I have a separate account for my personal. I hadn't announced it on dA. Maybe when I update my ID, I will link to my account as well.

I separated the accounts since I wanted to have things more organized. It's actually a whole lot easier and more my style this way. :D

Then whoever else has the Faust
name has a great taste in names!
I wanted a name that means'Lucky',
but the name Faust I think is most
well known for the man who made a deal
with the devil. It seemed fitting enough!
